Southforward.com – An airstrike launched by the Israeli military on the Gaza border has reportedly killed at least three people.
Reporting from the BBC, Thursday (08/09/2018), the dead included a pregnant woman and her child. Thus reports from the Gaza Ministry of Health to the media.
As reported earlier, the Israeli air strike was claimed as a countermeasure after Hamas rockets were fired into Israeli territory.
The Israeli Defense Forces Twitter account, IDF, said its fighter jets had targeted more than 140 strategic locations, including weapons manufacturing and storage facilities.
“The Israeli strike was carried out in response to rockets launched from the Gaza Strip in Israeli territory during the night and night,” he said.
The Gaza Health Ministry said 23-year-old Enas Khammash and his 18-month-old daughter were killed in Jafarawi in central Gaza.
A Hamas militant was also killed in one of the attacks, while at least 12 people in Gaza were reported injured, health officials said.
Israel has not commented on the reported death toll in Gaza. Meanwhile, Gaza Border Action in the past few months has indeed continued to increase.
