Afghan Vice President Escaped from Suicide Bomb Attack

    Southforward.com – Vice President (Vice President) of Afghanistan, Abdul Rashid Dostum escaped from suicide bomb attack at Kabul Airport on Sunday (22/7).

    The car he was traveling in had left the airport in a motorcade just minutes before the explosion, which officials said was apparently caused by a suicide bomber.

    Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish said that 10 people were killed in the blast.

    “As many as 10 people were killed and wounded in the blast,” he said.

    Kabul police spokesman Hashmat Stanekzai said the blast occurred near the main airport entrance, where supporters had been waiting to greet Dostum as his motorcade flashed on the way to the city center.

    “The number of victims may increase. The blast occurred just after the Dostum convoy left the airport, “he explained.

    No one has claimed the perpetrators of this suicide attack.
