Southforward.com – Dozens of Syrians are reportedly expelled by the Israeli army when approaching the border fence.
Quoted from Reuters on Wednesday (18/07/2018), the refugees were reportedly seeking help from the Russian-backed Syrian army attack.
Using loudspeakers, Israeli soldiers on duty at the border called on Syrians to return to refugee camps.
“Come back before something bad happens. When you want us to be able to help you, come back, start moving,” said the soldier.
Syrians who approached the border fence stopped about 200 meters before an Israeli soldier told them to leave.
The refugees, including women and children, then walked slowly back toward the refugee camp. Some stopped in the middle of the road and waved white cloths toward the Israeli border.
According to the same report, Israel itself has provided humanitarian aid to the refugees near the border.
But the Israeli military still says it will not give permission to enter Israeli territory.
