Southforward.com – Israeli military rockets reportedly attacked the Syrian military position at An Airport in Aleppo.
Reporting from SANA, Monday (16/7/2018), the attack on Sunday night was reported to have caused damage.
The position of army regime of President Bashar al-Assad’s attacked government was near Al-Nayrab airport. Damascus military sources claimed no casualties in this attack.
In a statement, the Syrian military said the attack had only minor damage.
“The Zionist enemy is targeting one of our military sites north of Nayrab airport, only causing material damage,” SANA quoted a military source as saying.
“This attack is a desperate attempt (Israel) to support the losing terrorist groups in Daraa and Quneitra, where the Syrian army is actively working to defeat them,” continued the source.
As reported earlier, the Israeli army (IDF) has stepped up its attack on the Israeli border on Sunday.
There are no reports of casualties in this attack either from Israel or Syria.
