Southforward.com – UK declares its commitment will remain the strongest ally for the United States (US). This statement was issued by the British during the visit of US President, Donald Trump to England.

Reported by Reuters on Thursday (7/12/2018), This statement was delivered directly by the British Prime Minister, Theresa May in a press conference to the media.

President Trump will arrive in Britain late Thursday and will be greeted by the Prime Minister at Blenheim Palace late Thursday. On Friday, he will witness a demonstration of advanced British military capabilities and integrated UK-US military training.

May will use Trump’s first visit as US President to England to discuss many issues and most importantly establish how close England works with the US.

“There is no stronger alliance than our special relationship with the US and there will be no more important alliances in the coming years,” said May.

He said that Britain and the United States already have a close and unique partnership in the fight for democracy and global security. Both share a global view on most foreign policy issues.

“Our trade and investment relationship is unrivaled – we are the biggest investors in each economy and every day one million British people work for US companies in the UK and one million Americans work for British companies in the US,” he said.
