Southforward.com – US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo responded to a statement by North Korea’s Foreign Minister saying he acted like a gangster.

Quoted from Sputnik, Saturday (7/7/2018), He said, If the demands are like a gangster, then the world is a collection of gangsters.

He also said that there was an unanimous decision on the UN Security Council about the country’s nuclear weapons.

“If the demand is like a gangster, the world is a gangster, because there is a unanimous decision on the UN Security Council about what needs to be achieved,” said Pompeo.

He also mentioned the two leaders’ agreement on the process of denuclearization in Singapore last month.

“In various weapons and missiles, that’s the broad definition of denuclearization, and North Korea understands that and does not challenge it.There will be verification associated with complete denuclearization, that’s what President (Donald) Trump and leader Kim Jong-un agree on.”

He then confirmed the sanctions against North Korea will continue to be applied until the denuclearization process is completed. He considered, the sanctions to be the guarantor of North Korea will be to test all their promises.
