Southforward.com – Syria says that the presence of US troops in the country no longer makes sense.
Reporting from Sputnik, Tuesday (3/7/2018), it was delivered by Syrian Parliamentary Secretary, Khaled Aboud in a statement.
He also requested that the US immediately withdraw its troops from the country.
He claimed that, without US aid, Syrian government forces have managed to pound terrorists.
“The US can no longer keep its troops in Syria, because we do not benefit from it,” he said.
He said there was no longer any need for the United States to defend his troops in Syria.
“Now, however we have left this page far behind, and there is no longer a need for the US to maintain these forces in our region,” he said.
Not to forget he also highlighted the meeting that will be in the title of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in the near future.
He called on the issue of Syria to be the main topic of talks between the two heads of state.
