Southforward.com – At least three people were injured in a fire incident at an army ammunition plant in Virginia.
Reporting from Military.com, Wednesday (13/06/2018), a report from an official press release on Tuesday said a fire at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant took place at a nitrocellulose drying facility late Monday.
The wounded were workers at the site and are now hospitalized in North Carolina.
Not yet known the exact cause of this fire. But spokesman for BAE Systems said it was investigating the case.
BAE Systems spokesman also said the production process will be closed temporarily until the factory is declared safe to do oprasionalnya.
The facility is located on thousands of acres in southwestern Virginia. BAE Systems BAE Systems is owned by the government and operated by defense contractors.
