Google Ends Contract “Maven Project” With Pentagon

Southforward.com – Google is said to have halted a military cooperation project in this case the Pentagon because it protested many of its employees.

Launched from the Independent page, Monday (4/6/2018), Google Cloud chief, Diane Greene has confirmed the truth of the news.

Previously, this Project was vehemently opposed by all Google employees. About 4 thousand Google employees even signed a petition to refuse this contract.

In the petition it was mentioned that employees believe that Google should not be involved in the war business, which can be used by the United States Government in military spy and potentially fatal.

“This plan will make irreparable damage to Google’s image and its ability to compete for talent, amid growing fears of alignment and arming Artificial Intelligence, Google is struggling to maintain public trust.” Write the Petition.
